Explain the process to clean the messages from the mail queue on a dedicated server?

Clearing the queue of e-mails at regular intervals is important on a dedicated server as your application may suffer owing to large number of spam messages that may clog your mails.

For this purpose login to the WHM with your root user. Then type the following command to delete your mail queue:

clearq

Note that this command will delete the new messages that were not delivered yet. This may lead to loss of important information for you!
