Stepwise procedure to setup Zimbra email account in outlook

Step 1: First and foremost, install the Outlook Connector

• Firstly, download the Zimbra Connector for Outlook 

• Then, Install Zimbra connector for Outlook

1. Now, open the above-downloaded file for installation with extension ZCO.msi 

2. The welcome setup wizard dialogue displays. Click Next.

Step 2: Accept the agreement of End-user License 

• After that, you come across the End-User License Agreement. Read the license agreement carefully. Further, select the option �I accept the terms in the License Agreement�. 

Then, click Next.

Step 3: Confirm Installation

• The dialog box displays with mentioning Confirm Installation. To begin the installation, click the Next button.

• Later, when the Installation Complete dialog displays, click Close. Now, The installation of ZCO completes successfully. To configure ZCP, continue to the next section. 

Step 4: Setting up Zimbra in the Outlook

• First, Open Outlook. The Outlook account setup wizard displays. To start the wizard, click Next. However, If it does not start automatically. Go to File option> Add Account.

• After that, the wizard will ask you to connect to an email account. Click Yes.

Step 5: Set Server Type

• Now, select the radio button mentioning �Manual setup or additional server types� and click Next.

Step 6: Select the Zimbra Server type

• Select Other > Zimbra Collaboration Server. Click Next.

Step 7: Go to the Zimbra server configuration settings 

• Enter details as per the dialog window displays. Use server name, if directed to you. Else, you can use zimbra.sol1.net as the Server name. In addition, enter your email address and password. However, the email address and password remain the same that you use to log into the Zimbra Collaboration Suite Website.

• Now, to complete the setup, click OK. 

For advanced users: If you want to change the thing, how mail is downloaded to your account. Then, before clicking the �OK� button, make those changes in the Download Settings tab.
