Data Center Environmental Control

Data center environmental control is a useful framework that includes maintenance of temperature, humidity, and other physical qualities of air within a specific range. With data center facility, it is required to be done to allow the equipment to perform optimally throughout its lifespan. Air flow: Air flow management caters to the need of improving data center computer cooling efficiency by preventing the recirculation of hot air exhausted from IT equipment. It helps in reducing bypass airflow and keeps the air flow proper.

Temperature: IT vendors recommend maintaining the temperature of 70–75 °F (21–24 °C) in the data center facility. Authorized professionals keep the temperature in check.

Hot/Cold Aisle Containment: Containment of hot/cold aisles and ducting hot air from cabinets are projected to check cool/exhaust air mixing within server rooms. Rows of web server cabinets face each other for proper ventilation of cool air that can reach the equipment air intakes at the set temperature point for the room.
