Virtualization as the term itself explains is the reduction of physical entities into intangible elements. As of the cyber world is concerned, it is gradually getting this element with a wide range usage. Earlier, during the days when systems functioned as individuals, the efficiency was less and the cost of establishing the same was huge. With the advent of virtualization, things have been put through a network bringing down the costs heavily and at the same time providing more scope for efficiency.
Ideally, there are few types of virtualization that are on the shelf although innovations and modifications are on. There are primarily, Network; Storage; Application and Centralized Desktop. They all differ from one another as per their functions and usage but the basic idea remains the same. This has ensured less number of machineries for the organization to handle-virtualization actually installs software into a system(s) that allows aces to a number of other software (often heavy and critical) to the user-along with less number of manpower to service them. This way a central system manages a cluster of delicate software and keep them updated.
This way, instead of buying all the required software and investing a lot into the required hardware, at a very nominal fee, organizations, both the start-ups and the established ones manage excellent outputs with more resources available to their core competencies.
