How to make use of the packages in order to manage server accounts on the dedicated server?

If you are looking forward to manage multiple accounts on your dedicated server by allocating different amount of resources to each of accounts - you can utilize the packages offered by WHM. Each account you have on you dedicated server has a Package setting, which enables you to determine the way you wish to allocate the resources to the particular account. For example, you can determine how many FTP accounts can be created, how many mails can be send per hour, and maximum amount of space on the Hard Disk that end-user can make use of.

Follow the below steps to create a new package:

- Login as root to WHM
- Select Add Packages from the left menu
- Enter name and configure the preferences
- Click Add button

Here, the package is ready for your use. Furthermore,

- Select Upgrade/Downgrade from the left menu (Account link)
- Select the username you are looking forward to assign the package
- Thereafter, click on the Modify button
- Select the created package and
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade button

Now, the account can use the resources as specified by you.
