Explain domain propagation?

Propagation is the delay in the period of time involved in guiding your domain's address info to all the various name servers. Name servers usually keep a track of the addresses for domains in their memory for a particular period of time. This increases the speed of the process of searching for an address for a domain name. Unluckily this "cached" info also stays in the name servers after it has been changed at the source of the original information.
