How to perform ping checks in Windows, Linux and Mac OS?

Below are the instructions on how to perform a ping check:

For Windows based OS

� Go to the Start menu

� Click Run

� Type cmd and press enter

� In the command prompt type ping domain.com and then press Enter key

For Linux based OS

Open a terminal window and type ping domain.com

For Mac based OS

Go to the Applications folder ? Utilities ? Network Utility ? ping and specify a domain or IP.
