Well, both mobile and cloud computing works on wireless transfer of data and information.
Cloud computing allows data or information via wireless connections - over distributed networks to a remote location, which is maintained and managed by a cloud service provider. Cloud computing has the potential to serve multiple users at a time.

On the contrary, mobile computing is related to the new devices and interfaces. In mobile computing, users access data and information through browsers. The other major functions of mobile computing are - supporting various apps with a core OS, providing intuitive icons, easy-to use search technologies, and touch-screen commands.

Just because the two terms entail the same word does not mean they are related. There is a lot of difference between mobile computing and cloud computing and they are immensely disparate, given they involve two different fields. Not a single answer is clear enough to clearly highlight what is the difference between cloud computing and mobile computing.

Below I have tried to summarize using a table. Hope it helps –

1.) Cloud computing relates to the availability of online cloud storage such as server which is facilitated over the internet
2.) Mobile computing is predominantly related to human computer interaction and facilitates transfer of data which may or may not be through the internet but it will be wireless for sure.
