IT professionals in enterprises are dependent on automated IT department applications. As per a report published by Information Week’s IT Salary Survey 2014, 72 % of IT staffers reported that the IT unit is responsible for the emoluments.
On the other hand, 21 % quoted that more than half of this salary is allocated to business units. In that case, it becomes outlandish to consider the percentage to grow in the near future. More and more applications as well as workloads will migrate to the
cloud server to instigate business units. This will land up as an exception and not a norm. So companies will get their own data centers managed by in-house IT departments. In case process-intensive high-security work is involved, the IT side of things might fade out in the business units for all IT staffers. This will disperse and embed with all other business units. So application development services will be provided to satisfy all other service and support needs.
It is true that the prospect of IT business unit dissolution's will become unnerving in the near future. This means companies will continue to downsize IT staff. In other cases, some people quoted that IT folks who are not interested in successful transitions to business units will probably have a handful of large
cloud computing companies take charge. This will consolidate as well as plug everything within the wall. Moreover,
hybrid cloud acts as bridge technology. This has brought about a transformation which will alter things down the road.
