Let me tell you it is an easy task. Just follow these three steps to migrate a WordPress website from one host to a
new hosting provider.
The first step is to back up the files, which you can easily do by either copying the data through the reliable FTP client to your local system or you can take the backup with zip if cPanel option is available on your computer.
The second step is to
backup the database, without which we can’t use WordPress. Start with exporting the data from your old hosting account. Now, you can import the database by creating a new database on your new hosting account.
The third step is reconfiguration, for which open the wp-config.php file in your WordPress root folder, reconfigure the lines and then your
WordPress hosting transfer process is complete.
