How to start cloud hosting business?

There are two ways for you to start a cloud hosting business.

One way is by purchasing a reseller server pack from a cloud hosting company and then resell it to others. In this case, you don’t have to look out for the renting of the space, purchase equipment, or employ technical staff.

The other way is to start your own business from scratch. If you are planning to opt for this way, you will need

- To purchase a lot of servers, hardware, and software. Get the installation of this equipment done.
- To lease an office space for your company. It should have enough space to house all the equipment.
- To hire professional IT staff for installing equipment and then deal with all technical and customer issues.
- To get your business licensed.
- To sell. For this, you can choose either the dedicated salesperson or paid marketing. For online advertisements, you can contact social networks or get your website optimized for popular search engine sites.

You have way too many options when you start cloud hosting business –

1. The first option is to go big. You can do so by setting up your own data center. Obviously, this will involve some cost but you will be the owner of everything , even the bricks.
2. The more viable option when you are starting out is to buy a cloud server reselling package and then resell it and when you have enough money, build your own data center.

You will eventually end up with a hosting company. In my opinion, it is better to start a hosting company than start a cloud business alone.
