Setting up of a VPS (virtual private server) may take up to 24 hours. Since it could be your first order, our billing team will contact you for certain administrative and verification details. The server configuration and any more add-ons, customized configurations etc may consume more time.
Once these formalities are complete or if verification is not required, the set-up process will not take more than 2 hours. You will receive a welcome email from us at the submitted and verified email address. However, if you have purchased a
VPS server with cPanel/WHM it is advisable you wait for some time before you start using your VPS. cPanel configuration for all the services on a virtual machine takes some time.
If it is a
managed VPS hosting plan you have purchased the entire process may require a minimum of 4 hours as our technical experts will additionally configure the
virtual machine manually.
Once the set-up is complete, you will have to activate your account. Log in to your account manager. Click on Servers and next click on Manage. Instructions on how to proceed further are given in the control panel on how to create a user account name and a password for your new VPS account.
