VPS servers are created by splitting a
dedicated server into two or more portions using the virtualization technology. Each VPS mimics the dedicated server in features and runs its own copy of the operating system. Once you have decided on the number of
VPS servers you wish to create, you must next decide on the virtualization software that you must install on your dedicated server. OpenVZ is an open source software that does not require licensing fee. You have the option of KVM or XEN VPS.
Open the server manager and select “Add rules and features”. Look for the “Server Rules”. Install the hypervisor. Give a name to the virtual switch for easy identification. Click on apply and next on Okay. Next complete the Hyper-V configurations. Install the OS and configure the install the resources. Repeat the process for all the resources.
