How To Configure Initial WHM Setting In A VPS Or Dedicated Server?

It is a relatively easy task to configure initial WHM setting in a VPS or Dedicated server if the server provider is a reliable a reputed company. One has to follow the under mentioned simple steps to complete the procedure:

 One must have a license of cPanel on his server.

 One should then proceed to setup networking section to configure initial WHM setting in his server.

 One has to create contact information to receive server updates. The person creates a name for his server, either dedicated or VPS, entering the host name in the domain name format.

 Domain name server’s resolvers must be added for the server’s outgoing DNS quarries. Default primary or secondary resolvers address may be used. Google’s public DNS server’s IP address also can be used as a territory resolver.

 For next step one should skip the step and use default IP address for further proceedings.

 One should then select a name server program to be used in the server.

 This private name server must be entered for use in name server specification section using single or different IP addresses.

 Now the server’s IP address must be entered and saved.
 The WHM will configure name servers and give directions.
 One should then select mail and FTP programs for server protection.

By clicking on Finish setup wizard, one configures WHM setting on his VPS or dedicated server.
