Your
shared hosting is fine if you have limited traffic but once the traffic increases, you should consider moving to either a dedicated server or a
VPS server. You must judge your needs and accordingly upgrade.
Both VPS and dedicated server give almost similar features with the basic difference being the price. You get root access to the server in both platforms. In VPS, you continue to share the server with other websites and are given a portion of the resources. In a dedicated server, you are alone and do not share the server with anybody else. The entire resources are yours. VPS server is more affordable than the dedicated server.
If you have budget constraints and are still not having a steady increase in traffic, you could go in for VPS as it is scalable and you should be able to manage your fluctuating traffic. If your business requires you to utmost privacy and you are not in need of the high-end resources that a
dedicated server offers, you should opt for the VPS.
However, if you have a constant flow of visitors and need the maximum bandwidth and server space, you should upgrade to the dedicated server. You are assured of complete resources, maximum reliability, enhanced security and privacy.
