In order to change time zone and time on dedicated server you should be able to login as root through SSH.

Search for /usr/share/zoneinfo/ folder for availability of time zones. In order to set Asian time, you can type cp/usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Dhaka/etc/localtime

The results can be tested by using ‘date’ command.

You can use the following method for changing time/ time zones in your Plesk Control Panel of DV.
• Log in to your domain in Plesk Control Panel
• Server tab
• Select ‘System Time’ under General Settings
• Now you can change the settings for time as well as date as desired. Do change the time zone too. This should follow the step of restarting your server in order to show the effect of change in time zone.
• Again click Server Tab to return to the page of Tools and Settings. Now select ‘Restart Server’.

Following commands elaborate time or time zone change process through Server Administration Panel. After initial log in select Tools & Settings under Server Management and in General Settings choose System Time.

Change time and date settings as required and then select time zone followed by pressing OK to save settings. Once the update is done, there is no need to restart entire Plesk, you can however restart MySQL for the change to be reflected in database.
