Creation of accounts on a
dedicated server is required generally for adding
reseller accounts. You should check with host for the access to create cPanel accounts for this purpose. It will help you sell the accounts as a reseller.
Step 1: Log in to your Web Host Manager (WHM)
Step 2: Click ‘Create a New Account’ under ‘Account Functions’ in the left hand menu corner.
Step 3: Now you need to fill in relevant details of the account you wish to create. Ensure that you enter following information.
• Fill the Domain Information by entering the main
domain name and then username and password for cPanel account. Select the email address that will be linked to this account and enter the same.
• You will be able to create packages for hassle free management of all cPanel accounts being created by you. Here you may set upper limits for number of add-ons.
• In Settings you can set language and theme.
• In Reseller Settings you can choose to provide WHM access to users.
• In DNS settings you have to fix DNS configuration.
• Decision regarding how your server is going to handle domain’s emails needs to be finalized in ‘Mail Routing Settings’. If undecided, you can choose to select ‘Automatically Detect Configuration’ and leave it.
Once you are finished with entering relevant information you can press ‘Create’ button to finish Account Creation process in
cPanel.
