Updating statistics on a dedicated server can be done by using applications that are available in cPanel. These applications provide you information about your website’s usage. Sometimes these you may have to update these logs by yourself. It can also be done manually. For this you need to access your SSH with help ot root user and follow the commands as given below.

/scripts/runweblogs/USERNAME

In the above command you need to replace ‘USERNAME’ with the your cPanel username name of a particular account. Next you only have to login to cPanel account for accessing the latest stats for the website.

You should note that web statistics for every user account are updated every day. If you find there is a delay, then most probably it can be due to software issues or excessive load on server.

If the Awstats and Webalizer on your cPanel are not enabled, then you need to enable these by executing the following simple commands. Click on the icon of Choose Stats after login to your cPanel. You will see the options under ‘Enabled’. Tick the boxes for Awstats as well as Webalizer and enter the domain of your website. Click to save changes. If this is the first time you are enabling these options, then it will need up to 36 hours for collection of initial data and subsequently it will be automatically updated once in every 24 hours.
