Changing from your previous WordPress host to a new host say, Go4hosting, is a very good decision you have taken.
Install a duplicator on the website you wish to move. Go to Packages section in your WordPress admin area. Click on Create New on the top right. Then, click on Next to create your package. Run a quick scan to see if everything is done okay. Click on Build. Leave all the tabs open as the process may take some time. Once done, click on the Installer and Archive buttons to download the package. You will see a “Package Complete” status soon. The Archive file will be a copy of your website while the Installer will start the set-up process of installing.
Connect to your new host using FTP. Since your
domain name still points to your previous host, do remember to write the
IP address of your new host With the FTP client, you can upload both the installer.php file and the archive.zip file to the root directory. Similarly, create a database in cPanel. Update your domain by switching the DNS name servers. It usually takes 24 to 72 hours to propagate the changes. Maintain your old hosting account for a few days before you cancel it.
You can contact the support team of
