A Virtual Domain implies that you have own domain name for your business, and there is no need to configure expensive server hardware and software. In simple words, when a server is combined to support multiple domains, it is connoted as virtual domain. By availing virtual domain name, you make use of service provider’s storage capacity; however, your business still gets dedicated Internet web address domain name & e-mail address domain name. Moreover, in virtual domain name, multiple websites share the same IP address. Unlike web servers, there are two kinds of virtual domains for mailing server: - Real IP based wherein you get an IP address for each virtual domain. The other one is Fake virtual domain name, wherein you make use of a single IP address when fetching Email via POP.

Virtual domain consists of a set of devices and maps and restricts a user's view to information relevant to these devices and maps.
