For configure outlook express for dedicated server, please ensure that following settings are done if you are using Plesk. 1.Go to ‘server’- ‘Mail’- ‘Preferences’- ‘Relaying’. Select ‘Authorization is required’ 2.In ‘Modules’, go to ‘Firewall’- ‘Edit Firewall configuration’. Activate SMTP server. In MS outlook go to ‘add email account’ in ‘accounts’ and click ‘Next’ after selecting ‘POP3’. Enter information in e-mail account settings. Enter appropriate name, e-mail address, and pass-word, in User and Logon information and also in Server Information. In ‘Outgoing Server’ select ‘My outgoing server’. Select ‘use same settings as incoming mail server’. Go to ‘Advance tab’. Incoming server (POP3) should be set at 110 and outgoing server (SMTP) at 25. After clicking ‘OK’ click ‘Next’ and Finish your configuration process. |

Select the Mail tab, then "Add", then click on "Mail". This will start up Internet Connection Wizard. Enter your name where it says "Display name:" and click "Next" at the bottom right. Select the Next Button Enter your Email address in the input box. This does NOT have to be your "[email protected]"( you can use "[email protected], [email protected], etc). Then click Next. Click the Next Button In the Incoming mail field type mail.yourdomain.com In the Outgoing mail (SMTP)field type mail.yourdomain.com (so if your domain name is elitepolls.com, then you would put "mail.elitepolls.com" there). Click Next. For the Account Name, type the full email address (including the domain name). In the Password section, type the password for the email. Click the Next Button Click the Finish Button |
