Login to your customer account panel on your services list. Select the VPS account that you wish to manage. Click on the “Console” button. A new window opens on your screen showing your VPS server with a prompt “install now”. Select the operating system version you are comfortable with. Reboot your VPS. You must then read and agree to the Microsoft Software License Terms and click on Next. Decide on the location where you wish to install the Windows server. Click next to Launch Device manager and there are 3 device drivers that must be installed. Right click on each one and click on “Update Driver Software”. Go to your Go4hosting Web control panel and click on “Reinstall”. Select “Browse my computer for driver software”. Browse to the CDROM driver and check for “Always truest software from Red Hat Inc” and click install. Right click on Network icon and then on “Open Network and sharing center”. Next go to Local area connection for the Unidentified network. Click on Properties on the new Windows and select IPv4 and click on properties. Launch Server Manager click on “Add Roles”. Select “Remote Desktop Services” and choose a Remote Desktop Host. Specify the “Add Require Network Level Authentication” and select Licensing by Users. This completes the Windows VPS Setup process. |
