Once you have purchased your virtual private server, you must set it up. Login to your Go4hosting account. Click on servers and then on Manage. Read the license agreement and click on the Accept button. You will be asked to fill in some information such as Fill in your account name also known as the server name. You should choose the operating system from either Linux or Windows for your business. You must estimate how much traffic your business is likely to generate and set up an upper limit of the bandwidth you require. Similarly, have a rough estimate of RAM and space you may require. Create a user ID with which you intend to login to your server. Create a password. Retype the password. Click on save and continue. You may also have to complete the FTP backup login information. Create a User ID and password. Save and confirm. The VPS is ready for use in a few minutes.
