Bandwidth is the amount of information that is transmitted to and from your account each month. It depends on the plans that you have chosen as all our plans come with different bandwidth limits. So in case a visitor downloads a 10kb of data from your website, it adds to your consumption. The consumption is calculated on the allocation given to your account based on the plan and not on the number of devices that you use. Bandwidth is set on every 1st of a month except for the VPS customers which is based on consumption and not fixed monthly. Being your hosting provider, we will send you an alert email that you have registered with us when your consumption is nearing its limit. You may opt to wait till the 1st of next month or buy extra bandwidth at an extra cost. If you are on a shared hosting, you cannot buy additional bandwidth but will have to upgrade to a higher hosting package. If you have a VPS account, you may contact our support team that is available 24/7 for an upgrade while dedicated server users can buy additional bandwidth for extra cost. |
