When you decide to outsource disaster recovery completely in that case you don’t have complete control over what's going on, and everything is managed by the service provider. On the other hand, when you use server colocation, basically your data center is usually in a diverse location, so you still have control over the hardware components, the software applications, communication channels, and any other related issues that might come up. |
