If you have decided to move your email from your previous host to Go4hosting check if you are using POP3 or IMAP while checking your emails. Go to your email settings in your email client to confirm your connection type. You must first setup your email account on your new server with Go4hosting. You may contact our support team in caser you need assistance. If you have been using POP3 connection to check your emails, there is nothing much you should do, as all your emails are already on your computer. You just must ensure that you do not lose any emails when pointing your domain to Go4hosting nameservers. If you have been using IMAP when checking emails. With IMAP, your emails are not downloaded on to your computer but are stored on your email server. So, it requires you to move your emails from that server to your new server. Open your email client and set up your old email hosting as an IMAP account. Do not cancel your hosting with your previous host till such time or you will lose all your emails. Next, set up your new email account and point to Go4hosting servers. Use your server host names as incoming and outgoing server names. Refer to your Account Management Panel for your exact server name. |
