Yes, you can upgrade your VPS account without having any impact on the performance or experiencing any downtime. In case, you wish to downgrade your account, you must submit a ticket to our billing department with a request to change your VPS plan. You could also write to [email protected] giving details of your new resource settings. To make changes to your RAM, you will only have to reboot your system once we finish the RAM allotment (increase or decrease) as per your request to your VPS. In case, you wish to make changes to the bandwidth, there is no changes to be made by you. The change is made by our accounts team in the billing system. There are two ways to increase the disk space to your VPS. The first method is by resizing the current underlying volume. Here though your disk looks bigger, it will not resize the file system. Create a new partition or slice on new space and mount it to your setup. The second way is to attach a second disk to the VPS. You can expand your present IP block into a bigger one without the need to renumber. The new IPs are instantly available to you without the need to reboot the machine. You may require to change the VPS interface subnet mask. |
