MS Exchange, another Microsoft masterpiece is ideally an email server along with being a contact manager and calendaring software. It runs on the Microsoft server and is in the line of products of the Microsoft Servers. The first inclusion of the Windows Messaging came in the with the Microsoft Windows 95 and is now available with all its variants after 95.

The current hot cake in the offing is the MS Exchange Server 2013. It has a simplified building block model with high operational ability. It makes available a built in monitoring and managing facility. This further brings down the cost by using large and competitively priced disks. The Exchange Server has provision which allow the user to have access through multiple devices which are authenticated by him/her. The data stored is secured by storing all of it as the Exchange provides In-Place Archives. The services include option of switching on to clouds for better flexibility and that too at the terms and requirements of the users.
