IT management is the stream where all the IT possessions of an enterprise are handled in agreement with its requirements and importance. These possessions may comprise of noticeable investments like computer software, hardware, networks, data and data center amenities. It also consists of the employees who are employed to manage these investments.

Handling this accountability within a business involves many of the simple managerial functions, like staffing, budgeting, organizing, controlling and change in management. Along with these aspects, other aspects that are irreplaceable to the introduced technology are also managed. Some of these extra required aspects are like tech support, network planning, software design, etc.

The main focus of Information Technology management is to produce importance by using these technologies. To attain this importance in the field, technology and business strategies must be brought into the same line.
