Data security refers to protection of database from destructive forces. It means all those protective measures that are applied to prevent any unwanted access of unauthorized users to computers, databases or websites. As a matter of fact, data security is of top most priority for organizations of every size. Therefore, every company prefers to adapt the highly advanced protective measures for the data security.

There are several advanced and prominent data security technologies including hardware or software encryption, backups, data erasure and data masking. A key data security measure is scrambling, where data is scrambled in digital form and rendered unreadable to unauthorized users and hackers.
