How do I change the time/timezone on my Dedicated Server?

To change the time zone on your Dedicated Server, first login to the WHM with root user via SSH. Next step is to browse to the /usr/share/zoneinfo/ folder and check the available time zones. For instance, to set the Parisian time of your sever, you can type this-

cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Paris /etc/localtime

To test the result, use the "date" command.

To change the time zone on your dedicated server you will have to login as root via SSH. Browse to the /usr/share/zoneinfo/ folder and check the available time zones on the drop down menu. Add the time zone that you want. Do a test using the date command.
