Cloud storage is used for storing data or applications, which can be accessed from anywhere, anytime. Here, businesses/individuals store and share their files online. Data is uploaded to the remote server over a network called Internet. Data stored on the cloud gets automatically synchronized to different user added devices. Google Drive, DataBaGG, and Dropbox are some of the known cloud storage platforms. Cloud computing is an extension of cloud storage, which is used to accomplish entire digital tasks. Not only it enables businesses to store and share information, however it allows them to provision required software, operating system, and other related IT resources in an exchange of nominal subscription fees. |
